Sew Different multisize patterns come in sizes UK 8 – 22, that’s US sizes 4 – 18. Each pattern comes with fully illustrated instructions and all the information you will need, such as how much fabric to buy and how to lay the pattern out on your fabrics. Every pattern has a blog post to accompany it full of advice on the types of fabric to use, inspiration and styling ideas. The paper versions are printed on high quality paper – made to last and be used many times. You can buy to share with a friend or use with your sewing group. For those of you who can’t wait, the PDFs are available to download immediately. How do PDF patterns work?
One size PDF patterns
Our FREE PDF patterns for women are all designed to fit a UK size 12, but they can be easily adjusted at key points to go larger or smaller. Have a look at the Making a pattern fit page for how to do it. There are also conversions to US and European sizes. The first page of your download is an overview and the following pages can be taped together to make up the full size pattern. Or, on some of the patterns, I have included the dimensions and helpful hints (all in blue) so you can draw them out on a large sheet of paper yourself. There are often some basic instructions, ideas about fabrics and adjustments that can be made on on the blog post that accompanies each one.
All my sewing patterns are designed to be EASY and most techniques and stitches I mention are referenced in the how to section.
“First time making an item of clothing, first time using a pattern and it was brilliant. Actually turned out exactly like it did on the envelope. Easy to understand and makes a stylish dress that looks quality. Highly recommend Laura’s patterns” – LISA LAWTON, UK Oct. 16
“Laura is unbelievably helpful – nothing is too much trouble and she responds very quickly. Her patterns are simplicity itself but look brilliant and disguise the “simplicity†really well. Looks like I spend a lot buying new clothes when, in fact, Laura inspires me to make my own. Easy to print off, great to join together, instructions are easy to follow. All in all, highly recommended.” – DONNA MCDERMOTT, UK, Sept. 16
“I love Laura’s patterns, they are easy to sew and flatter all different figures. I will be buying more as they come out as paper patterns” – SUE ELLIS, UK, May 16
