We chose cloth to inspire, and to nourish the talents of those who love to sew, turning the uncut into beautiful garments to be worn in celebration of slow fashion and a need to connect through our hands with something more.

Maria’s work beautiful one-off articles of clothing encompass embroidery, print and design. They focus on rehousing everyday objects that have a specific association or meaning to her. Shaping memories and experiences into her own visual language Maria’s work is a response to the events of her daily life.
MICHALA GYETVAI – THREADS & FIBRES
Michala is an MA Fine Art Painting graduate with distinction from Coventry University.
She is an award winning, widely exhibited artist who works between painting, poetry and textiles.
