The Carnaby Dress pattern is contemporary and easy-to-make with clear illustrated instructions. Reminiscent of the swinging 60s it is a A-line shape with a V neck and darts at the bust. There is a slim feature panel at the centre (that cries out to be a contrast fabric) and is accentuated by the notched hemline. It has topstitch details and spacious in-seam pockets. It is roomy enough to wear with a jumper underneath and covering enough to be made in lighter fabrics for the Summer and worn alone. There is no need for a zip – it pulls on over the head.

The Carnaby Bag is a practical and stylish, zipped, cross-body bag to keep all your daily essentials safe. The internal pockets are a handy feature for all those little things that can get lost at the bottom.

The fabric – Hera Storm – is a medium / heavy textured linen in a classic navy and cream colourway and is designed from original painted artwork by Laura Casey. There is enough fabric to make both the dress (in all sizes) AND the bag.
