Each design comes from a piece of my own (Laura Casey) original artwork, many of which were done during the lockdown of the first pandemic. You can read about the artwork and design process here.
As the designer of Sew Different patterns, it is great for me to be able to combine my love of sewing with my paintings. For these particular designs, I have used a variety of media from watercolour and acrylic paint to pen and ink.
Our fabrics use sustainable print technology with positive ecological balance and 95% higher production efficiency than in traditional printing methods.
Our printers are GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified. They use a green printing technology with minimised consumption of water, energy and chemical substances. They contribute to a reforestation development with every order that is placed.
