Pattern adjustment & cutting for beginners. Our three day course introduces you to the basic concepts of patting fitting using a simple shift dress as the starting block. You will learn how to take measurements correctly and then use them to adapt the pattern to suit your shape, and add extra elements to suit your personal style.

Join us for a 2 day workshop to learn the skills of trouser fitting. This class is run by our pattern cutting expert, Katie, who will help you to accurately take your own measurements. From these you will use a very simple trousers block as a starting point and draft your own shape in calico. Adjustments will be made and you will go home with a toile that fits you and a customised paper block.
