Boxy raglan top sewing pattern

I have long seen the need for some additions to Sew Different’s pattern range. So often I see a pretty fabric and would like to make a quick teeshirt or bag rather than a whole dress. Some days I just don’t have the mental energy to start a big project, and how satisfying is it to be able to finish something in just a few hours?

So was born our new Quick Makes range – things that can be made quickly and easily for maximum satisfaction. I have a hundred ideas in my head but I have started with just these four patterns. The Artist’s Smock and the Boxy Raglan Top were initially single size free patterns but I have received so many requests for multisizes that I decided to put together the full package with sizes and instructions.

The Batwing Top is a variation on one of my original free patterns and the Duo Top is something brand new that I love for its versatility and ability to use up remnants of leftover fabrics.

Each pattern comes in 5 sizes only rather than our usual 10 size range. The sizes are: 8-10, 12-14, 16-18, 20-22 and 24 -26. These patterns now include finished garment measurements which is something I know people are looking for and is so helpful when it comes to choosing your size.

You will find the instructions printed on the same sheet as the pattern itself, an economy which allows us to set this range at a much lower price point than our flagship range.

So, for £9 for a paper pattern and only £6 for a download the Quick Makes range comes in as economical AND satisfying. Each one is perfect for an afternoon’s sewing and will help you work your way through the giant stash that I know you are hiding.

There are many more patterns on the horizon, including bags, projects for the home and some children’s wear patterns thrown in for good measure, so watch this space!
