Here is it sewists! The relaunch (and completely revamped version) of the Colourblock Dress. I have listened to your feedback and have made this pattern much simpler with super-clear instructions.
It now has the added the option of 3/4 length sleeves and is a little longer in length (to the knee). The back is now plain rather than continuing the colourblock pattern.
All in all, this new pattern is easier to make, has a bit more flexibility (with or without sleeves) and more technical info to help you along the way.
The shape is a loose fitting A-line that pulls on over the head (no zip needed). It works well in so many different colour combinations. I’ve included a few colour block dresses below to inspire you in your colour choices.

This gorgeous lemon and black version is made in a range of silk crepe fabrics from Fabworks. They were not that easy to work with but the finished result was a beautiful flowing swishy look with a luxurious feel. I have added 20cm on to the bottom of the dress for a longer look.
